International corporate structures.
For its international structuring advisory services, Exitguru works closely with Heiko Schröter, Managing Partner of the law firm Straitons Whitelaw, which has been in operation since 1925. With over two decades of experience in international corporate law, he assists entrepreneurs worldwide in developing and implementing global structuring models.
His professional career has taken him to England and Hong Kong, among other places. Since 2013, he has been a managing partner at a multinational law firm in London, and since 2019, he has also been responsible for expanding the firm’s Dubai office.
Together, Exitguru and Heiko Schröter combine strategic vision, international experience, and strong operational execution capabilities.
This results in legally sound, well-thought-out, and forward-looking structures for entrepreneurs who want to expand internationally and operate more efficiently in the long term.

- FAQ
You have questions, we have the answer!
Is it legal to set up an international company?
Yes. Establishing and using international corporate structures is legal if correctly structured and compliant with applicable national and international regulations. Many companies use foreign entities for strategic, operational, or market-specific reasons.
Crucially, the structure must be transparent, legally sound, and reflect actual business activity. Careful planning and professional support are essential.
Do I have to move abroad?
No. International company formation is possible without emigrating. In many cases, foreign companies can be managed while maintaining your primary residence at home.
Whether relocating is beneficial or necessary depends on your individual situation, the chosen structure, and personal goals. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions.
How long does the process take?
The duration depends on several factors, specifically the chosen country, the desired legal form, and the individual starting situation. In many cases, an international company formation can be completed within a few weeks.
More complex structures or additional requirements may take more time accordingly. Proper planning and a clear sequence of steps help to avoid delays.
What happens if I already have a company?
An existing company in Germany does not preclude international structures. In many cases, additional foreign entities can be effectively integrated or existing models can be further developed.
The options available depend on the company’s current structure, its operations, and its business objectives, and should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
